Learning to Use My Bible Class

This class is offered to 2nd and 3rd graders in preparation of receiving Bibles from Covenant. Email children@covenantumc.net for more information.

 Family Easter Event and Egg Hunt

Held the Saturday before Easter this activity provides a time for children up through the 5th grade to hear the Easter message through songs, story, craft activities and games.  The event includes a hunt for Easter eggs.

Vacation Bible School – 2024 dates coming soon

VBS is held one week each summer in the evenings from 6-8:30pm and offers opportunities for children to learn about the love of God in a variety of ways.  There is never a dull moment at VBS. 
The theme for 2024 is: Camp Firelight. We will learn ways we can connect with and put our trust in God whenever we are afraid, challenged, or called to do God's work in the world and share the Good News of God's love through Jesus Christ. Check out this year's theme!

United Methodist Summer Camps 

Covenant participates in the Indiana Conference camping program.  To get complete information go to www.impact2818.org.  Registrations made after April 15th will have additional fees, so early registration is recommended.  Covenant will pay half the cost of camp for active participants of Covenant UMC. The scholarships will be based on the early bird registration fees.

Registration is simple, just follow these steps: 

  • Secure an i-cash code by emailing children@covenantumc.net 
  • Go online to register at www.impact2818.org
  • Complete the registration process.  You will need to pay half the cost of camp at that time, so have a credit card ready. (You will input the i-cash account number during registration to take care of the church’s half of the cost.)
  • Forward your e-mail confirmation to children@covenant.net">Children’s Ministry.

 
Children’s Christmas Pageant – December 24, 2023 at 5:00 p.m.

Children from the Covenant community present a retelling of the Christmas story on Christmas Eve.  This is a wonderful way for children to experience the Christmas story and to share with others the message of God’s love.
